the mosaic of life

intertwined at a terminal

shows the frailty

of the human life

we are all just one moment away

from not meaning anything

to anyone

yet we wear smiles

and cling

to things that will fade

all in an attempt

to matter

to anything or anyone

that can not

truly offer us
